Frederick

I like to read Leo Lionni's books to my groups. Because the author's charming children's books are well known world wide, most of the kids that come to English class at The Children's Art Workshop are already familiar with the stories. They really get a kick out of hearing books like Frederick and Swimmy read to them in English. I like the books for both their content - the stories encourage individuality, imagination and cooperation - and the creative projects they inspire me to create!
